Quinnipiac Men’s Club Rugby plays in Tier 1 of the New England Wide Collegiate Rugby Conference (NEWCRC). Tier 1 of the NEWCRC includes the University of Vermont, Boston University, Norwich University, Coast Guard Academy, University of New Hampshire, Bentley University, Providence College, UMass Lowell and Sacred Heart University. The primary season is in the fall semester. Practices and tryouts begin early in the semester on Monday through Friday in the evenings, with games typically on Saturday afternoons. In the spring, the team continues to train and enter tournaments. In recent years, multiple athletes have been selected for the NEWCRC First Team and in 2019 the club team was named the Patriot Bowl Champions.
