Benefits of accelerated dual-degree (3+1 and 3+2) programs
Accelerated dual-degree (3+1 and 3+2) programs enable you to earn your undergraduate and graduate degrees in the most efficient and economical way possible. This approach to earning your degrees improves on traditional higher education models by focusing on rigorous, interdisciplinary and experiential learning.
-
Save time and money: You’ll complete your degrees sooner, save on tuition costs and enter the workforce at least one year earlier.
-
Competitive career positioning: Your graduate degree will give you an advantage in a competitive landscape.
-
Scholarships: Your Quinnipiac merit scholarships will be available into your master’s degree program.*
-
Dynamic living experience: You can choose to live within a Living-Learning Community cohort in your first year on campus.
-
Experiential learning: You’ll have access to special programming and networking opportunities for program students.
The numbers are clear, and the benefits are obvious: The combined value of reduced program costs and average starting salary upon entering the labor market one year early is approximately $100,000.
* Merit scholarships may continue into the first year of a +1 or +2 program. This opportunity only covers one graduate program.

Enhance your Quinnipiac experience on your schedule
Accelerated dual-degree (3+1 and 3+2) programs are rigorous and require ongoing enrollment in courses to stay on pace for graduation. To ensure that our students are primed for success in this program, most accelerated dual-degree pathways are invitation-only.
We encourage any ambitious student who is interested in enhancing their Quinnipiac experience and seamlessly transitioning to a graduate program to explore our dual-degree 4+1 programs. These programs are open to all students and provide many of the same benefits as the accelerated programs at a more manageable pace.
