April 6 announcement
The QCash program will be discontinued effective May 29, 2026, as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to modernize campus operations and improve the overall community experience.
Through the end of the Spring 2026 semester, QCash will remain available for use as it is today. Community members with an existing QCash balance are encouraged to plan accordingly and spend down remaining funds as we approach the program’s conclusion.
For those who do not use their remaining balance, refunds will be issued during the Fall 2026 semester. This timing will allow the university to ensure refunds are processed accurately and efficiently for all community members, including students, faculty, staff and others who may hold balances. Additional details about the refund process will be shared in future communications.
Beginning in the 2026–2027 academic year, campus services such as printing, vending, dining and other point-of-sale locations will transition away from QCash and instead support more widely used payment options, such as debit, credit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Further details regarding these updates, including timelines and next steps, will be communicated as they are finalized. Learn more about printing on campus
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this transition and will continue to share updates as more information becomes available.

All students are reminded to check their student account balance in Self-Service regularly.

Outstanding balances result in financial holds and can lead to a late fee charge. A financial hold prevents students from registering for classes, adding or dropping a class, receiving final grades or transcripts and more.
