Quinnipiac eSports is a competitive program that participates in the MAAC and NACE eSports Leagues. The team are back-to-back MAAC Smash Champions (2022 and 2023) and won the MAAC Valorant Championship in 2023 at the LAN championship event in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Smash and Valorant were invited to compete in the CECC National Championships in Arlington, Texas in May 2023. All titles participate in the university’s eSports Lab, an 850 square foot space in our Rocky Top Student Center that houses 24 gaming PCs and a console gaming space.
No! We provide all the equipment necessary to participate however students are welcome to bring their own if they are more comfortable with their own gear.
Players of all abilities and experience are welcome to try out for any of our teams. Also, en if you don’t make the team, the eSports lab offers open recreation hours to utilize all the gaming equipment Quinnipiac has to offer.
Yes! You can join us for intramural eSports or for open recreation hours in the lab and use our state-of-the-art gaming PCs and consoles to play your favorite games in a more casual setting.
Currently Quinnipiac does not offer scholarships for eSports athletes.
