The Oncologic Physical Therapy micro-credential is awarded to learners who demonstrate advanced knowledge and skill required by physical therapists working with the oncology population. Attendees may be eligible to earn 2.5 continuing education units (CEs) in various healthcare professions.
Program Overview
This Level III Badge acknowledges that you are prepared to work with the oncology population and have demonstrated an in-depth understanding of pathophysiology, medical treatment, associated sequelae. physical therapy examinations and interventions for oncology. As part of the program, you will apply intervention techniques for patients with a history of cancer, including determining appropriate and safe exercise prescription.
