Doctor of Physical Therapy Admissions

Application Timeline
The post-baccalaureate pathway to enter the Doctor of Physical Therapy program is accepting both internal and external applicants.

How to Apply
Applications to the Doctor of Physical Therapy program are managed through the Physical Therapist Centralized Application Service (PTCAS). This service is provided by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and simplifies the application process by allowing you to apply to multiple programs with only one application.
Application Requirements

Bachelor’s degree prior to matriculation into the program.

A minimum GPA of 3.2 in all post-secondary coursework.

A minimum prerequisite GPA of 3.2 with a grade of C or better in each prerequisite course.

A minimum of 60 contact hours of healthcare experiences, either volunteer or paid. At least 20 of these hours must be in two different physical therapy practice settings (e.g., hospital, nursing home, rehabilitation agency, outpatient department, private practice, etc.). The additional 40 hours may be in any health profession.
