Admission Requirements
To qualify for admission into the on-campus MS in Informatics program, a student must:

Have completed a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited or equivalent recognized institution

Select a track (Health, Data or Legal) when applying
Interested candidates do not have to have technical training but must possess a passion for information science and motivation to learn technical skills.

A complete application consists of the following:
Standardized test scores (such as GMAT or GRE) submitted by the students in support of the application also are considered but are not required.
Please note that admission is competitive and that meeting the minimum admission standards does not guarantee acceptance. Applications are considered on a rolling basis, and students may apply to enter during the fall or spring semesters. Candidates are encouraged to submit applications as early as possible to ensure consideration for the semester desired. Applications are evaluated once all materials and the application fee are received by Quinnipiac. Students can expect to receive a decision within 4 weeks of submitting a completed application.
Laptop Guide for Incoming Students
All programs within the School of Computing and Engineering recommend particular Apple or Dell models for student laptops, though students are encouraged to select a laptop they are most comfortable using.
All software necessary for computing and engineering courses is available on classroom computers or via Citrix. Please contact your program director with any specific questions about laptops or technology requirements.
