Build, Test, Repeat

Quinnipiac’s engineering students made a strong debut at the 2025 Student Steel Bridge Competition, designing and constructing a 19-foot bridge capable of supporting over 2,500 pounds. Their entry stood out for its speed of assembly, lightweight design and stability. The team earned first place in aesthetics among 17 universities, recognized for the bridge’s balance, proportion and finish, as well as a detailed poster presentation. This achievement reflects months of collaborative effort, applying classroom knowledge to a real-world project and setting a high standard for future teams.
