We understand that the world of film and television is dynamic and demanding, requiring a unique blend of skills and hands-on experience. From internship opportunities and engagement with industry experts to producing short films, you'll gain the practical knowledge and real-world exposure you need to excel in the film and television industry. We're proud to offer a range of experiential learning opportunities tailored to this exciting and influential industry.

  • QU in LA and QU in NYC, where you'll live, learn and intern in two of the largest media capitals of the world.

  • Quinnipiac Film Society (QFS), a student-run organization that serves as an outlet for film enthusiasts that want to be involved in the movie-making experience. They produce one large-scale production and multiple small-scale productions each semester. Additionally, select members travel to the Sundace Film Festival and have the opportunity to interview celebrities on the red carpet.

  • Women in Film, a student-run organization that provides a place for women interested in the film and television industry to gather and pursue their goals as filmmakers.

  • Q30, the official student-run television station at Quinnipiac.

  • The Agency, a full-service, student-run interdisciplinary firm that takes on real projects from real clients, offers students the opportunity to create impactful video content.

  • The Quinnipiac Podcast Studio, with limitless opportunities to create film-centered shows.

Quinnipiac students have the unique opportunity to spend a semester in Los Angeles learning from industry professionals and interning at leading companies in film, television, new media and more.

The Quinnipiac University in Los Angeles program gives you the opportunity to live, work and learn in the heart of America’s entertainment industry. Los Angeles is home to the “Big 5” film studios, 10 professional sports franchises, major broadcast news network bureaus — including ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC — and a media market that reaches more than 5 million people daily.
