“This recognition affirms our longstanding commitment to expanding access to the legal profession, supporting students from a wide range of backgrounds and preparing graduates to serve both their clients and their communities with integrity and skill,” said Brian Gallini, dean of the School of Law. “It also validates the efforts of our faculty, staff and students who live those commitments every day.”
Schools are evaluated based on the scope, maturity and impact of their efforts. Only those demonstrating sustained, institution-wide strategies to broaden access and support student success earn top marks.
Quinnipiac School of Law earned an “A-” designation, placing it among a select group of law schools nationwide recognized for meaningful, measurable progress in expanding opportunity and advancing equity in legal education. The honor roll is not a ranking but a recognition of meaningful institutional action to broaden opportunity and support student success.
“Our goals are focused on purposeful growth rather than growth for its own sake,” Gallini said. “That includes continuing to strengthen student outcomes, expanding experiential and interdisciplinary offerings, deepening our public service and community engagement footprint, and ensuring that our curriculum prepares students for a rapidly evolving profession. At the same time, we are committed to sustaining the close-knit, student-centered learning environment that is a hallmark of Quinnipiac Law.”
