Vanessa Gonzalez-Figuereo

Dr. Vanessa Gonzalez-Figuereo is a bilingual student affairs professional with 20+ years of experience in two-year and four-year college settings. She is currently the Assistant Dean for Advising and Student Services in the College of Arts and Sciences at Quinnipiac University. Dr. Gonzalez-Figuereo has experience leading diverse teams and cultivating high-quality services to create optimal learning environments for student success. She has extensive advisement experience, first-year experience, new student orientation, leadership development, transition programs, student life, and residence life.

Dr. Gonzalez-Figuereo holds a doctor of education in higher education administration from the University of Southern Mississippi, a master's degree in student personnel administration, and a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Buffalo State College-SUNY.
