Dr. Rahul Anand (he/his) is a physician and medical educator board certified in Infectious Diseases, Internal Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine. He is passionate about helping trainees, physicians, health professionals and medical educators realize their full potential as they navigate their careers and the journey of being their best self, building exceptional relationships and teams, impacting health systems and cultivating communities of practice.

Background and Training: Dr. Anand trained in Delhi, India including medical school and residency at Delhi University. He completed his Internal Medicine internship at Chicago Medical School/ Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, residency at Temple University, followed by an Infectious Diseases fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University. He also completed a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation focusing on implementation science at the University of Utah, and an MBA (healthcare track) at the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts, Amherst. 

Dr. Anand is a faculty member in the Department of Medical Sciences at the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. At Quinnipiac, Dr. Anand directs an award-winning curriculum on leadership and teamwork for medical students. His clinical work intersects the fields of Infectious Diseases, HIV and Lifestyle Medicine, currently as the Director of Infectious Diseases at Community Health Services, Hartford. 

He has served as a Faculty Fellow at Quinnipiac's Albert Schweitzer Institute, Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, and Center for Interprofessional Healthcare Education. Nationally, he has been recognized as a Fellow of the Infectious Diseases Society of America, Harvard Macy Scholar, and AMA Health Systems Science Scholar. Dr. Anand has served as visiting faculty for the Harvard Macy Institute at Harvard Medical School, and for Infectious Diseases Society of America's Leadership Institute.
