His research area revolves around innovative strategies used by organizations and their performance (quality and financial). He is interested in operations management, leadership succession planning, and information technology research. His research paper, published in the Journal of Healthcare Management, received a prestigious Edgar C. Hayhow Award during the American College of Healthcare Executives' 60th Congress of Healthcare Leadership. His research has been published in several top-level journals, such as Journal of Operations Management, Journal of Decision Sciences, Journal of Health Care Management Review, Journal of Healthcare Management, Journal of Healthcare Finance, International Journal of Business and Systems Research, Journal of Healthcare Management, Inquiry, and Telemedicine and e-Health.
He has presented his research findings in several highly respected academic conferences, such as the Academy of Management Annual Meeting, the Academy Health Annual Meeting, the American Public Health Annual Meeting, the Southern Management Academy, and the Gerontological Society of America Annual Scientific Meeting.
