Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing
After becoming a nurse practitioner in 2013, Professor Casbarro continued to work with children and families in a holistic pediatric primary care office and at school based health centers in Bridgeport and Meriden.
Her passion for health and wellness led her to develop garden based food literacy classes for children at a local elementary school. This is her current area of scholarship along with food insecurity, food justice and pediatric obesity.
Professor Casbarro holds a Yoga Teaching certification and Yoga Therapy certification as well as certifcations in Spirituality, Health & Wellness and Herbal Medicine.
