Karen Majeski is an Associate Professor of Occupational Therapy at Quinnipiac University and the Director of the Post-Professional Doctoral Program. She teaches a variety of courses with an emphasis on Children and Youth and Assistive Technology. Her clinical background is in school-based practice, postsecondary transition services and assistive technology. She is the co-facilitator of AOTA's Transition Community of Practice with a current scholarship focus on postsecondary transition planning and services. She is a co-founder of the Cheshire Transition Collaborative Program and Chair of the Connecticut Community Empowerment Foundation whose mission is to support integrative employment practice for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
