Dr. Guido Lang is an academic entrepreneur whose work bridges higher education and technology innovation. He is Department Chair and Professor of Business Analytics & Information Systems at Quinnipiac University, where he also directs the MS in Applied AI & Business Analytics program. His current research examines individual and organizational factors that impact AI readiness and how universities can prepare graduates for an increasingly AI-driven workforce. He has authored or co-authored over 70 peer-reviewed journal articles and conference presentations and received multiple research awards. Over the past 25 years, Dr. Lang has founded several technology startups and regularly provides advice on new venture formation, digital product management, and technology strategy. Originally from Düsseldorf, Germany, he earned a BS in Management from California State University, Long Beach, an MS in Information Systems from the University of Bern, and a PhD in Information Systems from Baruch College, City University of New York.
