Guido Lang

Dr. Guido Lang is an academic entrepreneur whose work bridges higher education and technology innovation. He is Department Chair and Professor of Business Analytics & Information Systems at Quinnipiac University and holds a joint appointment as Professor of Medical Sciences. His current research examines how individuals and organizations assess, adopt, and build capabilities for AI and analytics. He has authored or co-authored more than 70 peer-reviewed journal articles and conference presentations and received multiple research awards. Dr. Lang has over 25 years of experience as a technology entrepreneur and product leader. He has founded and advised multiple software ventures and regularly works with organizations and startups on AI strategy, technical product management, and skills development. Originally from Düsseldorf, Germany, he earned a BS in Management from California State University, Long Beach, an MS in Information Systems from the University of Bern, Switzerland, and a PhD in Information Systems from Baruch College, City University of New York.
