The New Student Orientation program is designed to help a student transition into the Quinnipiac community. At Orientation, students meet with faculty and staff members who explain Quinnipiac's academic requirements, course options and the class registration process. Students leave Orientation with a schedule for their first semester at Quinnipiac.During the session, students will also learn about a variety of campus resources--everything from the student code of conduct to co-curricular involvement opportunities and the University's expectations regarding diversity and inclusion. Throughout the session, new students interact in small groups with their classmates and begin forming new friendships. Upper-class students, known as Orientation Leaders or OLs, guide these groups. The New Student Orientation program is an overnight experience during which incoming students spend one night in our residence halls.
