Many Master of Business Administration programs promise an edge in a fast-paced and globalized job market. In the School of Business at Quinnipiac, we aim higher than that. Our AACSB-accredited MBA program develops extraordinarily well-prepared professionals and industry leaders who can thrive in any business environment and corporate structure anywhere in the world.
Our experienced faculty challenge students to think critically and connect key business concepts with real-world problems. By collaborating with their peers and using sophisticated technology, students will gain critical skills in analyzing real-time economic data, developing financial models, and running actual trading simulations.
A variety of career-focused electives enable students to tailor their experience and align with their career aspirations. Elective courses allow students to explore particular areas of interest ranging from finance and marketing to entrepreneurship and healthcare management.
Outside the classroom, Quinnipiac MBA students gain unparalleled access to networking and career events, which attract distinguished representatives from organizations such as Apple, GE, Goldman Sachs, Johnson & Johnson and JPMorgan Chase.
MBA students may choose to take elective courses within one area, creating a concentration in a specific discipline, or may choose to take electives across multiple business disciplines, enhancing a broad interdisciplinary perspective.
A STEM-designated MBA is highly valued as it provides a strategic advantage in today’s job market. It combines technical, analytical and problem-solving skills that are essential in the workplace and in high demand among prospective employers. Diplomas will state “MBA in Management Science” to highlight the combination of both MBA and STEM-designated skills earned throughout the pursuit of the program. This is beneficial to graduates as it highlights expertise in both technical and business areas.
In addition, STEM-designated programs allow certain international graduates to remain and work in the United States for an additional 24 months after graduation on top of the standard Optional Practical Training period (up to 12 months) in order to receive additional training through their work experience.
This unique program is best for current Quinnipiac students who want to continue their studies and obtain an MBA in just one additional year.
For prospective undergraduates who are just applying to Quinnipiac, we offer an accelerated dual-degree program that enables you to complete your bachelor’s and MBA degrees in just four years. Students may elect to combine their MBA with a major from the School of Business.
This program allows you to maximize your course load to earn both the Juris Doctor and Master of Business degrees in one interdisciplinary approach.
