Quinnipiac earned the highest scores for graduation rate, salary impact, learning facilities, career preparation and learning opportunities. Quinnipiac earned the second-highest ranking among all colleges and universities in Connecticut, just after Yale.
“The Wall Street Journal’s recognition affirms Quinnipiac’s mission to prepare students for successful careers and purposeful, fulfilling lives,” said President Marie Hardin.
The university’s investment in student success is visible — with the brand-new Science, Innovation, Technology and Exploration building and the School of Business building opening just last month, adding 216,000 square feet of space for students to learn and grow with faculty and staff.
Last year, the new 415-bed Grove residence hall opened with multiple areas on each floor designed for collaboration. Our new 60,000-square-foot Recreation and Wellness Center offers dedicated space for counseling, health services and fitness, as well as areas to sign out camping, kayaking and other recreational equipment
“We’re proud to be recognized in The Wall Street Journal rankings, especially because the ranking reflects the very metrics that matter most to us at Quinnipiac — strong student outcomes, career success and a vibrant educational and campus community,” said Provost Debra Liebowitz. “These results affirm our commitment to delivering an exceptional educational experience. Our new South Quad buildings are further evidence of our dedication to the success of the members of our community.”
These new classrooms, labs and collaborative spaces are purposefully designed for Quinnipiac’s industry-leading faculty to be able to work closely with students to develop the skills that the marketplace demands.
The professors across Quinnipiac’s college and eight schools are committed to the academic, personal and professional success of every student from day one. They are passionate scholars who are also accomplished in their fields — with teaching always their top priority.
Quinnipiac students also benefit from the university’s strategic partnerships with major companies, including Hartford HealthCare, M&T Bank, PepsiCo and Travelers.
“Quinnipiac’s rise to No. 51 in The Wall Street Journal rankings reflects our deep commitment to delivering an exceptional student experience — where rigorous academics are paired with hands-on learning and state-of-the-art facilities,” said Tom Ellett, chief experience officer. “Our vibrant campus culture prioritizes student wellness and belonging, creating an environment where every student can thrive. With an 18.2 percent increase in first-time student applications since 2023, it's clear that our experience for students is resonating more than ever.”
With the anticipated launch of Quinnipiac in New York City next fall, students have the opportunity to study and learn in immersive ways on both coasts with the university’s highly successful Quinnipiac in Los Angeles and Quinnipiac in Washington, D.C., programs. Hundreds of students also study abroad each year through semester-long immersive experiences as well as faculty- and staff-led trips.
In addition, Quinnipiac is dedicated to preparing students for career success through the university’s unique iQ learning lab, which offers a holistic approach to career development and experiential learning, preparing students with a personalized plan that maximizes their time at Quinnipiac.
