President Hardin’s 2025 holiday message and video

President Marie Hardin shares a year-end holiday message with the Quinnipiac community, and a video featuring a festive holiday party hosted by Boomer the Bobcat.

Dear Quinnipiac family:

As we celebrate the holidays, I’m grateful for so much.

For the second year in a row, The Wall Street Journal ranked Quinnipiac among the country's top 100 universities, moving us 40 spots to 51st — nearly a 44% jump. It's also indicative of our momentum. This year, we opened our new School of Business and The SITE, launched our Strategic Visioning Initiative, and welcomed two new deans: Dr. Lisa Coplit, dean of the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine, and Trenton Honda, dean of the School of Health Sciences.

We also marked the 25th anniversary of our designation as a university, and the founding of our School of Communications. We came together for Inauguration Week and Bobcat Weekend, and that sense of pride was everywhere. Even our Bobcat Challenge exceeded $1 million raised for the second straight year.

As Quinnipiac’s 10th president, I’m excited for the future we’re shaping together.

This year's holiday video, Home for the Holidays, is designed to capture the feeling this community has given my husband, Jerry, and me, along with our dog, Tator: Belonging. I hope you feel the same way about this great university.

Happy Holidays!

Marie Hardin
President
