The Common Hour is a dedicated time for campus-wide engagement and interaction. This time aims to foster community, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and meaningful student support. During the Common Hour, students and faculty may participate in an array of programs. Primarily, faculty and staff lead programs on Tuesdays, while students spearhead programming on Thursdays. Common Hour provides the opportunity to explore interests, connect with peers and mentors, and enhance the overall university experience. While focused on the Mount Carmel Campus, all are welcome to participate in programs as their schedule allows.

Quinnipiac students work in virtually every corner of our three campuses, developing tangible skills and a strong network.
There are two primary types of employment opportunities on campus:
Federal Work-Study Jobs: Federal work-study jobs are funded by the federal government and are available to students who have received a federal work-study allotment as part of their Financial Aid package. Students earn their allotment in biweekly paychecks by working a federal work-study job on campus. Students must apply to available federal work-study job openings and interview to secure a federal work-study role. See available positions
Non-Federal Work-Study Jobs: Non-federal work-study jobs are funded entirely by the university and are available to students who did not receive a federal work-study allotment as part of their Financial Aid package, including international students. Students must apply to available non-federal work-study job openings and interview to secure a role. See available positions
Quinnipiac Dining Study Employment Positions: There are on-campus student employment opportunities available across our campuses for students — both domestic and international. Apply now
And fun fact, federal work-study students are the backbone of this weekly Bobcat Bound email.
If you do not have federal work-study and believe you are eligible or just want to check if you are eligible, please contact financial aid at finaid@quinnipiac.edu.
As the start of the new academic year approaches, you will be receiving an increasing amount of important information to prepare you for your Quinnipiac journey.
