We have some exciting welcome events planned:

York Hill residents: Don’t miss the Welcome Back BBQ on Thursday, August 28. its a great way to reconnect and kick off the year.
The Housing and Residential Life staff is eager to support you throughout the year. If you have questions or need assistance while on campus, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Quinnipiac students work in virtually every corner of our three campuses, developing tangible skills and a strong network.
There are two primary types of employment opportunities on campus:
Federal Work-Study Jobs: Federal work-study jobs are funded by the federal government and are available to students who have received a federal work-study allotment as part of their Financial Aid package. Students earn their allotment in biweekly paychecks by working a federal work-study job on campus. Students must apply to available federal work-study job openings and interview to secure a federal work-study role. See available positions
Non-Federal Work-Study Jobs: Non-federal work-study jobs are funded entirely by the university and are available to students who did not receive a federal work-study allotment as part of their Financial Aid package, including international students. Students must apply to available non-federal work-study job openings and interview to secure a role. See available positions
Quinnipiac Dining Study Employment Positions: There are on-campus student employment opportunities available across our campuses for students — both domestic and international. Apply now
And fun fact, federal work-study students are the backbone of this weekly Bobcat Bound email
If you do not have federal work-study and believe you are eligible or just want to check if you are eligible, please contact financial aid at finaid@quinnipiac.edu.

To help you more easily attend key academic and student experience events at the university, we are excited to introduce a weekly Common Hour this fall!
Held every Tuesday and Thursday from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. on our Mount Carmel Campus, this dedicated time — free from scheduled Mount Carmel classes — is designed to foster community engagement, interdisciplinary collaboration and meaningful student support.
We are confident that it will enrich our academic environment and strengthen connections across campus.
One of the primary reasons we established Common Hour was to better engage commuter students and accommodate their schedules, enabling more commuter students to be more engaged on campus.
The first event on Tuesday, August 26, has intentionally been aligned with a showcase of the South Quad; this new space has enabled the integration of a common time into the Mount Carmel academic schedule.
This will be the official community celebration of the South Quad opening, with an opportunity to tour the facilities. All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend as we welcome you and celebrate the start of a new academic year together!
