On a day marked with regalia, wonder and promise, Marie Hardin, PhD, was inaugurated as Quinnipiac’s 10th president on October 16 at the M&T Bank Arena on the York Hill Campus. With grace and "grit," Hardin outlined the vision for Quinnipiac in a heartfelt inauguration address.
The Wall Street Journal has recognized Quinnipiac as No. 51 in the top rankings for the United States. Quinnipiac earned the highest scores for graduation rate, salary impact, learning facilities, career preparation and learning opportunities.
Several hundred members of the Quinnipiac community celebrated the ribbon-cutting ceremony opening the new energy-efficient School of Business and a academic building called The SITE, short for science, innovation, technology and exploration.
Taking place throughout the academic year on Tuesday and Thursday from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m., Common Hour is dedicated time, free from scheduled Mount Carmel Campus classes, for students, faculty and staff to experience community engagement, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and impactful student-centered programs.
The amazing amount raised was announced following six hours of dance, hope and inspiration to top off a year’s worth of philanthropy across the Quinnipiac community. QTHON funds support Connecticut Children’s Foundation in providing lifesaving care to children and their families. Since 2011, QTHON has now raised over $1.7 million to provide treatments, resources, and healthcare services for children and families served by Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.
More than 1,600 attendees representing over 150 colleges and universities gathered in April in the heart of Manhattan for the Quinnipiac student-run Global Asset Management Education (GAME) Forum, the world’s largest student-run financial conference. The conference featured a full lineup of panel discussions, along with the annual student-managed portfolio competition. To cap off the year, the student-managed portfolio hit a record high of more than $6 million.
Generous members of the Quinnipiac community donated $2.2 million as part of The Quinnipiac Gala: A Night for the Ambitious on Friday, April 25 in the heart of New York City, and the Bobcats Unite campaign held throughout the prior week.
Women's tennis earn its MAAC-record eighth conference title, defeating Fairfield, 4-3, in the two teams' fourth consecutive meeting in the MAAC championship match. The same day, men's tennis won its second consecutive MAAC championship, as the Bobcats downed Rider, 4-1, in the title match.
Led by a trio of runners in the top seven, the Bobcats are MAAC champions for the fourth consecutive year after racing to a 36-point effort on November 1 at Twin Ponds on the FARM.
The Quinnipiac women's golf program won the 2025 MAAC Championship on April 19 at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course, as the Bobcats finished 13 strokes ahead of the next-best team to claim the conference title. Quinnipiac has now won six MAAC titles under Head Coach John O'Connor, the most by any team in the conference since the Bobcats joined the MAAC for the 2013-14 season. The Bobcats have taken four of the last five conference championships.
