Quinnipiac’s dedication to the health and safety of our students has made us home to one of the safest campus communities in the country. Both Public Safety and Quinnipiac EMS, our student-run EMS organization, respond to medical emergencies on-campus, ensuring that all students, staff, faculty, and visitors can receive the highest quality of care should they ever need it.

Our eligibility for the recognition stems directly from the efforts of our pre-professional schools as well as QU EMS to promote and educate the community on CPR. I am extremely proud of the work QU EMS has done to educate both Quinnipiac and the greater Hamden area about the importance of healthy hearts and how to provide care for those in need.” said Alex Bayer ’25, who spearheaded the effort.
