Wide-eyed, she looked up at her mom and told her that she would one day perform in front of a sold-out audience on that stage. On December 30, she and the 17-member Quinnipiac Legends A Cappella group will do just that — opening for the Christmas Spectacular!
"It's a dream come true," said Pezzello, who leads the Legends. "I can't wait to represent Quinnipiac on one of the world's most well-known venues."
The Legends will perform two songs — "Mary Did You Know" and "White Winter Hymnal" — before taking their front-row seats and enjoying the Radio City Rockettes, legion of nutcrackers and Santa himself.
It is the latest accomplishment earned by the Legends. Earlier this year, the Legends finished among the top 20 A Capella teams in the country in the Northeast Quarterfinals for the Varsity Vocals International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella competition.
