This video celebrates the 25-year history of the non-profit Festival, which features an annual national competition for young organ students with winners receiving awards to further their music education.
The purpose of the festival is to encourage young organists and to enhance the area of organ education — both to support young people studying the organ and to increase general appreciation of organ music of the past and present.
The film has multiple Quinnipiac connections: Golden employed one of our recent FTM graduates, Owen Sindorf, as a PA and for additional camera work.
Sean Duffy, executive director of the Albert Schweitzer Institute, offers insight into Schweitzer's life.
And professors emeriti Liam O'Brien and Becky Abbott also provided footage from their own documentary "Albert Schweitzer: My Life is My Argument."
