Jennifer Herbst, professor of law and medical sciences at Quinnipiac, will moderate a discussion with a panel of experts who will analyze and discuss the legal repercussions and/or benefits of cognitive testing.
“I was thrilled when the students came to me with their idea for this panel,” Herbst said. “They are asking a critical question at the intersection of our growing physician shortage and aging population.”
The panel will include Michael R. Bertoncini, an attorney with Jackson Lewis; Dr. Ralph W. DeNatale; Joshua Goodbaum, an attorney with Garrison, Levin-Epstein; Katherine Lam, an attorney with Jackson Lewis; Nicholas Ouellette, an attorney with Kurian Ouellette, LLC; Gary Phelan, an attorney with Mitchell and Sheahan, P.C.; and Scott Weiss, an attorney with Weiss and Weiss, LLC.
This program, presented by the Quinnipiac Health Law Journal, is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Register here or call 203-582-8652.
