Food trucks roll up on the Quad daily, offering tasty local eats with many diverse cuisine. From barbecue to burgers and burritos, there's something for everyone.
Run, walk or cycle the Farmington Canal Trail, a 54 mile trail spanning across Connecticut, connecting to the Massachusetts border and beyond. Located across the street from York Hill Campus allows for easy access, check it out for a short walk in between classes, or carve out some time for a scenic run or bike ride.
Show your Bobcat pride and support our 21 Division I athletics teams: baseball, basketball, cross country, field hockey, indoor and outdoor track and field, ice hockey, lacrosse, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis, acrobatics and tumbling, rugby and volleyball.

Take a short drive to one of Connecticut’s picturesque beaches along the coast! Some nearby spots include Silver Sands State Park in Milford, Connecticut, Hammonasset Beach State Park in Madison, Connecticut and Sherwood Island State Park in Westport, Connecticut.
Attend QTHON, our annual university wide philanthropic dance marathon that supports Connecticut Children’s and the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Dancing, merch, food, giveaways and more will be offered throughout the day.
Open skate mondays will continue throughout the year, offering a space for students to have some fun with friends, located on York Hill in the M&T Bank Arena.

Sleeping Giant State Park lies just a few paw prints away, offering over 30 miles of trails. Whether you're looking to take a peaceful stroll with friends or venture to the top of the mountain, there are over 20 trails to choose from.
Fall in New England calls for apple and pumpkin picking! Visit one of the many local orchards and farms in the area. A Bobcat favorite: Lyman Orchards.
Check out Brooksvale Park, a public park that is home to an organic vegetable and herb garden, farm animals, a sugar shack for boiling maple syrup, a bee apiary and multiple hiking trails and fields. Enjoy all the farm festivities located only a short 7-minute drive from campus down Whitney Ave.
Embrace the peaceful beauty of the North Haven Campus. Sit, swing and ponder by the pond or inside the zen room.
Celebrate the lifelong friendships you've made at Quinnipiac. Attend or host friendsgiving with your fellow Bobcats with a potluck-style dinner, or cozy up for a movie viewing in the dorms.
The Big Event is the largest day of community service on campus, where undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, staff and alumni participate in three hours of community service at about 100 sites in the Hamden and New Haven area.
Backpacking, canoeing, rock climbing — you name it, QU Outdoors does it! The group offers trips to different locations around the country, giving students the opportunity to explore the outdoors. Sign ups are accessible through the RecWell website, and for more information, check out the QU Outdoors office in the RecWell building.

This new initiative, announced by Provost Debra Liebowitz, provides students the opportunity to recharge midday, with a break in between classes to allow for more student collaboration through club meetings and conversations.

The Adirondack chairs located on York Hill are one of the best places to view the skyline and rolling mountains that span miles, surrounding Quinnipiac. On a clear day, you can catch the sunrise, sunset and stars! Chairs are located outside of the Rocky Top Student Center.
The health fair is an immersive event where students can walk through and enjoy games, therapy animals, mental health tips and tricks and more. The event is geared towards mental health and keeping the mind and body healthy through different activities and experiences.
