The Master of Arts in Teaching – Elementary Education program offers: 

  • Full-time pathway to licensure that may be completed in just over one year with reduced costs per credit to save you time and money. 
  • Internship and residency placements within elementary schools in partnering districts which allow for tuition remission of up to 50% of the program cost. 
  • Late afternoon and evening scheduling that allows you to complete coursework around student teaching or other full-time roles.  
  • Our graduates leave QU with a master’s, full certification and teaching licensure, enabling them to get hired before they graduate.

 

$30K Apprenticeship Opportunity

Quinnipiac University recently received a grant for 17 apprenticeship positions that provide up to $30,000 in assistance for aspiring educators. This includes a full-year, paid classroom experience in a partnering Connecticut School district, a total of $20,000 in tuition assistance and an additional $10,000 stipend.
